MEI 31, 2021 The Hague was the first municipality where the transgender flag was raised. Thirteen flags were on display at the Hofvijver, the town hall and the Escamp district office. Mayor Jan van Zanen states that transgender people deserve this and expresses his hope that they feel supported by this.
